This position is part of a 5-year contract at the Atlantic City Airport, which an ideal candidate would be able to relocate temporarily with a negotiable relocation fee.
Your New Role: HVAC Design Engineer (Atlantic City Airport)
You’ll be the go-to expert for the design, installation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art HVAC and mechanical systems. If you think you've seen it all, you’re in for a surprise. In a federal environment, working with cutting-edge systems, you’ll be playing a vital role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and comfort for the entire facility.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing engineering reports, calculations, and detailed design packages
- Overseeing HVAC design work for top-tier systems like chillers, DOAS, and BAS
- Conducting field inspections, reviewing vendor submittals, and leading project closeouts
- Providing expert engineering support during the construction phase
- Diagnosing equipment failures and recommending top-notch solutions

Job requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- Expertise in HVAC/R Design
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to relocate temporarily to Atlantic City, NJ (relocation fee negotiable)
- Must obtain FAA Suitability/Public Trust Clearance
