Tired of being just another cog in the machine? Frustrated by companies that don’t appreciate the true skill it takes to be a Journeyman Structural Technician? At Bacik Group, we’re not your typical 9-to-5. We know your value and offer a space for you to truly own your expertise. We're not here for micromanagement or endless red tape. We’re here to give you a challenge, empower you to make decisions, and make sure your work counts. If you’re ready for that, read on.

Your New Role:

As a Journeyman Structural Technician at the William J. Hughes Technical Center near Atlantic City, NJ, you’ll take the lead on inspections and condition assessments of FAA facilities. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Perform daily walk-through surveys, identifying structural or civil issues.
  • Conduct custodial inspections and assessments, keeping facilities running smoothly.
  • Report mechanical, electrical, and structural problems and work hand-in-hand with the FAA to resolve them.
  • Estimate costs, create work statements, and follow up on work requests.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FAA personnel, ensuring the buildings stay at their best.
  • Manage inventory data and submit survey reports—your eye for detail will keep everything in check.
  • Support technical troubleshooting and software installation as needed.

What's in it for You:

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance to keep you and your family protected.
  • Paid time off and sick leave—because life happens.
  • 401k plan to invest in your future.
  • Consistent work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • The opportunity to lead and advise FAA personnel on facility improvements. You’re not just a cog; you’re a key part of the team.

Why You’ll Never Want to Leave:

We don't just offer jobs; we offer careers that make a difference. Here, you’ll take the wheel and drive results, with a team that backs you all the way. Your voice will be heard, your expertise respected, and your contributions celebrated.

This Job Isn’t for You If:

  • You’re not up for working directly with the FAA on critical facility management.
  • You don’t enjoy a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and problems to solve.
  • You prefer coasting on autopilot rather than improving systems and processes.

This Job Is for You If:

  • You’ve got 5+ years of building electrical, mechanical, or structural assessment experience, and you know your way around Microsoft Office.
  • You’re a proactive problem solver who can spot an issue from a mile away and fix it before it causes chaos.
  • You’re all about collaboration—working cross-functionally with a variety of teams is your jam.
  • You have the chops to handle complex condition assessments and generate detailed reports.

If this sounds like your next career step, don’t wait. We want someone ready to hit the ground running. Apply now and join the Bacik Group team!
